We are looking for brilliant Cleaners to join our Premises Team on a part time basis.

The successful candidates will be providing a clean and stimulating learning environment under the line management of the Facilities Manager. 

Cleaning experience will be advantageous along with an understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to the role. Verification of any relevant qualifications will be required before employment can commence.

The hours for the role are 11.25 hours per week. You will be required to work from 6.00am to 8.15am, Monday to Friday. The role is for 42 weeks per year; 38 weeks during Term Time, 5 INSET days, 1 week during the Easter break and 2 weeks during the Summer break.

The pay scale is set at Kent Range 3 (£23,557 for a full-time post) with an actual salary of approximately £6,693 per annum.

A formal interview will take place with a panel comprising the Facilities Manager and Business Manager to explore the candidate's application and suitability for the post.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and a check against the ISA Barred List for Children, two satisfactory references and right to work in the UK documentation. All new employees to the school, including those with previous local government service, shall be subject to a 6 month probationary period.
