Garlinge Primary School and Nursery, Westfield Road, Margate, Kent, CT9 5PA
Teatime Club
Garlinge Primary School and Nursery has launched its new Teatime Club. We welcome children, during term time, 5 days a week over 2 sessions, 15:15 – 16:30 or 15:15 – 17:45. The club is run by a team of experienced teaching assistants in the Key Stage 2 hall.
During the sessions there are a range of engaging activities for each child to access such as board games, construction toys, outside sport activities, ICT, Art & Crafts and a quiet space to read or complete their homework if they wish.
The children are offered a range of ‘light tea’ options from our varied menu.
Parents and carers are expected to collect their child from the main office at the end of their designated session. Parents and carers need to be aware that there will be no road crossing patrol staff members at this time so you will need to take extra care when crossing roads.
If alternative arrangements are made for the collection of your child at the end of the school day, we kindly request that you notify the school at the beginning of the day. This enables us to have the necessary information in place for safeguarding purposes.
All Teatime Club sessions are to be booked and paid in advance via our online payment facility, Weduc. If your child is absent from Tea Time Club for any reason you will still be expected to pay for the place.
Due to the demand currently for Teatime Club there is a waiting list in place. To request for your child to be added to the waiting list, please click on the form link below. (Please note: you will be redirected to Reach More Parents by Weduc)
If you need further information on Teatime Club please contact our Extended Services Co-Ordinator, Mrs Verrall, via Weduc message, by phone 01843 222559 or by email verrallv@garlinge.kent.sch.uk.
